From a story by Flannery O'Connor  and created for the stage by Karin Coonrod,  this is  a tragic-comic interracial seat-shifting dance by whites and blacks on a bus in America's deep South.

 

Playing and speaking the  original text verbatim, eight actors create all the characters and  give us all the narration. Georgia's red earth is slammed up against the eternal and O'Connor's voice embodied in a company of performers carries the power of this apocalyptic comedy right into the audience.
